Challenge
CityPantry wanted to stay ahead of their local competitors and speed up their product development.
Their in-house resources were insufficient to achieve that, so our main goal was to extend their team with additional frontend and backend developers and successfully integrate both dev teams.

RST Software / City Pantry team culture
We started working with CityPantry in 2018 and in 3 years created a solid team that seamlessly integrated with their in-house one.
Team integration
To ensure smooth cooperation between the in-house and remote teams, our developers regularly visited the City Pantry office and vice versa.
Hackathons
CityPantry regularly organized hackathons that took place in a separately rented office, the main goal of which was to develop an improvement or a new feature for the CP application.
Product improvements
Our developers have won the title of ‘The Best New Feature’ during one of the hackathons, which was later implemented in the production-ready product.
